Growing up, I always won awards at school for the same two things: creative writing and kindness. Looking back, I realize that it was since then that I loved imagining new, joyful experiences, and being able to share them through storytelling and creating positive experiences for others.
After high school, I entered the University of California Irvine, Film & Media program.
I spent 4 years researching how one of the most immersive mediums of media, film, is able to affect the human experience through highly intentional visual design and composition.
With an academic level of visual media understanding, I entered the social media/marketing side of the fashion industry.
I learned how finding the right message through empathizing with the audience could actually be converted into more user-focused content, customer engagement, and higher numbers across the board.
Now, I strive to be a continuously teachable, imaginative designer who creates positive experiences for users through visually immersive, empathetic design.
